A microchannel, also known as a microchannel heat exchanger, is a heat exchanger with a channel equivalent diameter of 10-1000 μm. The flat tube of this heat exchanger has dozens of fine flow channels, which are connected to a circular collector at both ends of the flat tube. The tube is equipped with a partition to separate the heat exchanger flow channels into several processes.
The compact design and lightweight aluminium construction results in higher Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) and Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER), the microchannel heat exchanger is on average 60% lighter than a finned tube heat exchanger and uses less raw material. This gives you more scope for profitability and a more acceptable price for your customers. An additional benefit of not using other metals is that microchannel heat exchangers are optimally recyclable.
